Q. Do I need to sand the surface before I paint?
A. Depends on the surface check with Crystal Paints first, We recommend sanding with 240 grit before painting and between coats.
Q. Do I need a primer?

Q. Do I need an undercoat?

Q. How far will the paint go, how many square meters can I paint?
A. Crystal Paints products are used on many different surfaces, also the paints are many and varied depending on the project. please contact Crystal Paints for more information.
Q. How much paint do I need for a bedroom/bathroom/anywhere?
A. Measure the length and height of the room and then multiply together this is the square meters, now we can work out how much paint you need to complete your project.
Q. Do I have to use 2 top coats?
A. Crystal Paints recommends 2 top coats to get a smooth and even finish
Q. Can i use exterior paint inside?
A. Yes, you can use crystal paints exterior paint inside.
Q. Is oil based or water based paint better for outside?
A. That depends the surface you are painting and the paint you are using, please contact Crystal Paints for more information.
Q. Do I need acrylic sealer undercoat on bare plasterboard?

Q. When is the best time for painting?
A. The best time is when it is dry between 12 - 30 deg, not too much humidity.

Q. How do I acid etch concrete?
A. Mix 1 part water and 1 part hydrochloric acid on the concrete surface you want to etch, spread it out so all of the surface, pressure wash with water after an hour.
